The Title IX & Campus Advocacy, Resources, Education, and Support (CARES) Office welcomes you to Pomona College! This online sexual assault prevention training is required to be completed by August 6, 2022.

Pomona College has partnered with EverFi, whose mission is to help students address critical life skills such as alcohol abuse prevention, sexual assault prevention, and financial literacy in higher education institutions across the county.  Each year over 5 million students and employees complete these courses.

As part of our comprehensive prevention program, Pomona College expects each member of the first-year class and incoming transfer students to complete Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates.  This online education will empower you to make well-informed decisions about issues that affect your years at Pomona College and beyond. This training serves as an agreement to our shared core values. The course has two sections, both of which must be completed to fulfill this requirement.  

• Students can login beginning Wednesday, July 13th to Foundry at the link listed below.  The deadline for Part I is Wednesday, August 10.
• About 30 days after you complete Part 1, you will receive an email asking you to complete Part 2.  The deadline to complete Part 2 of the course will be Wednesday, October 5th.
• Students must complete the course with a passing grade of 85% or better to received credit.
• Students will need to have Part 1 of this training completed to obtain their housing key on move-in day (August 20^th).

Please note that the course includes three surveys that measure students’ attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are strictly confidential; the College will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students’ answers.
 
Please note that Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates is a mandatory requirement for all new students at Pomona.   

Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates Login Instructions

To fulfill Pomona's requirement:  

1. Sign in at: bit.ly/FallTraining2026

2. This will take you to Pomona's Central Authentication Service (CAS)

3. Select Pomona College from the drop down menu

4. Enter your username (example: abcd2022)

5. Enter your password

6. This will take you to the EverFi registration page.  Your name should already be populated.

7. Enter your ID 

Note:  When prompted, please enter your 8-digit Student ID to ensure you receive credit for completion. You can find your Student ID at my.pomona.edu; look it up by selecting "Personal Info" at the top of the page and then selecting the "Biographical Info" tab on the student portal.

8. To receive proper credit for completion of Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates, students must use the Single Sign On (SSO) through the Central Authentication Service (CAS).
